We met at a house party. I was 19, he was 20. It was being thrown by a coworker. Upon talking, we discovered we both had been hired that week at the restaurant, through a recommendation from the same mutual friend.
Please tell us about those special things that draw you to your soulmate or twin flame?
He complements me. Says what I am thinking, and what I am sometimes too shy to say. I care so much for his well being and his happiness that sometimes it hurts. I want to be there for him in every way.
How has finding your soulmate/twin flame changed your life?
Unconditional love. It has taught me how important love is- how restorative, healing, and essential love is for growth and positivity in the world. And it has taught me numerous valuable lessons.
Do you share many synchronicities together? If so, please think of what they are and tell us?
Yes. We share many similar life circumstances. My father committed suicide when I was young. Two years ago his brother committed suicide. We both have history of alcoholism in our families, and alcohol is something we have to be cautious of. We were both betrayed this year by each of our best friends. We think similarly. Especially with humor. Often saying what the other is about to. Our taste in the arts and music is very similar.

This has been a five year process for me and him. There was an instant mutual attraction between us, but we both still had lessons to learn before we could be together. It has been the most difficult experience- a lot of pain- but all worth it because now, after being apart for two years and letting go- we have found ourselves back living in the same city that we met and now get our shot at having a healthy relationship together- after doing the work on ourselves fate brought us back together after being 3,000 miles away.

So many. There have been signs too numerous to count. It's also such an intuitive knowing, and something that doesn't make sense to other people looking in from the outside. I get lots of personal signs that would only make sense to me and him.
Do you and your partner have the feeling that this isn't the only lifetime you have spent together? If so, please tell us about it, below.
I am not sure. I have never really gotten glimpses into my past lives. I would not be surprised at all if this wasn't our first lifetime.
How would you describe your life up until the time you found your soulmate or twin flame? What is the last "big thing" to have happened to you prior to your reunion?
Life was extremely difficult when I was young. And I grew up in a place I felt so disconnected from. Then I made the most difficult decision at 19 to move away from everything I knew to a different state where I only had one friend. For the first time I felt like I was where I belonged. And then we met.
Have you noticed any recurring themes in your relationships, ie..past karmic experiences that keep popping up or the numbers 11 11 and the Fibonacci Sequence as it relates to date/time?
Lately I have been seeing 11:11 all the time. I think it's a sign that things are coming together with us.
Have either you, your partner or both of you together, had the feeling from a very young age that you were put here to fulfill a purpose for which you never received any specific instructions? (feelings of a spiritual calling, a higher call, or a greater purpose.)
Yes. Within the past year I have really discovered my path to fulfilling my purpose. I believe that was another reason we were not able to be together yet- I needed to figure that out first.
What advice would you give to anyone out there who is either searching for their own twin flame or soulmate or is in the middle of one of these relationships?
Trust your intuition. Trust your heart. I felt crazy many times the past five years because I had such an intense deep yearning and love for him and I didn't understand it because there was no rhyme or reason for it. It didn't make sense- he was a mess at the time, and logically it didn't make sense for me to want to be with him. So I prayed and prayed for God to take away my feelings if it was in vain. The feelings never wavered so I prayed for him, and prayed for our growth together and as individuals in hopes that we would be together someday.

Do you believe that upon finding your twin flame/soul mate that one of you has awakened the other, so to speak?
Yes. He has shown tremendous growth in the past five years. It has been a struggle, but he has fought hard and I am so grateful because now we are on the path to being together since we have both taken the time to work on ourselves separately. It's been a five year journey, two of those years were spent apart. But not a day went by that I didn't think of him.

I would cope by praying, and writing. I wrote a ton. It was my release. Now I am grateful because I have all of my memories with him preserved in my journals. I have our story. In fact I wrote a screenplay about it and gave it to him about two years after meeting.
